Madden NFL 23 Ratings: Top 5 Cornerbacks

Comments · 78 Views

Jalen Ramsey was a first-team All-Pro last season and once again proved to be the best cornerback in the NFL.

Madden 23 ratings week continues; we’ve already learned about Madden 23 Ratings for Edge Rushers, Wide Receivers, and more, but it’s time for the Cornerbacks to take center stage. As the NFL has shifted to more of a passing league, having a solid, shutdown corner is more important than ever. The game is the same too. So in this guide, let’s look at the best CBs in Madden 23.

Jalen Ramsey – LA Rams – 98 OVR

Jalen Ramsey is not part of the 99 Club anymore, but he’s still by far the top-rated cornerback in Madden 23. Ramsey was named to his fifth straight Pro Bowl and second consecutive All-Pro team in 2021, setting a career-high with 77 tackles and matching his career-best four interceptions. He was also excellent for most of the Rams’ postseason run as they captured their first Super Bowl since the Greatest Show on Turf era. The Los Angeles Rams star is the game’s top-rated corner for a second straight year, opening the season as a 98 overall. Want to use him in MUT 23? Please prepare some Madden 23 Coins in advance. If you obtain him, he will be your surest bet in the latest edition of the game.

Jaire Alexander – Green Bay Packers – 94 OVR

While Alexander moved down one point from his opening rating a year ago, he’s now the sport’s second-ranked cornerback. He is a defensive diamond in the rough for a Packers team that is historically found wanting. Alexander spent a chunk of the 2021 season off the field nursing injuries, but he finished the 2020 season as at least one outlet’s choice as the number one cornerback in the NFL.

Tre’Davious White – Buffalo Bills – 93 OVR

Though it’s been a few seasons since the Bills held the league’s best pass defense, Tre’Davious White serves as proof that Buffalo’s defense still has potential. White tore his ACL at the end of the 2021 season; Hopefully, he will return to the NFL and Madden 23 strong.

Darius Slay Jr. – Philadelphia Eagles – 92 OVR

Four-time Pro Bowler Darius Slay was rated a 92 out of a possible 99, tied for fourth among all NFL cornerbacks. This accolade joins an impressive 2021 season that saw Slay get his fourth Pro Bowl selection and score the second most defensive touchdowns in Eagles franchise history.

Denzel Ward – Cleveland Browns – 92 OVR

It’s hard to find positive things to talk about with the 2022 Cleveland Browns. One thing they did correctly was sign Denzel Ward to a five-year contract extension. The former multiple defensive Rookie of the Week received his second Pro Bowl selection last season.
